Our Legacy
The Beginning
Kui Lee was founded in 1963 in Tha Chalom, Mahachai, Samut Sakhon, beginning as a hand-operated twine factory serving local fishing communities. From the start, our focus was on producing reliable products that met the real demands of professional fisheries.
Factory Relocation
As demand increased, the original factory faced space limitations that no longer allowed for the installation of additional machinery. To support continued growth and modernization, Kui Lee relocated its manufacturing facility to the Mahachai area, Mueang Samut Sakhon District.
Capacity Expansiong
As the fishing and marine industries grew, we steadily expanded our capabilities. Our production evolved from twines to include ropes, and later fishing nets. This allows us to support a wider range of applications in fisheries and related industries.
Modernization & Partnerships
Through continuous development and strict quality standards, Kui Lee became an OEM producer for Momoi Fishing Net Mfg. Co., Ltd. (Japan), a globally respected name in fishing net manufacturing. This collaboration played a key role in advancing our material standards, manufacturing techniques, and product development.
Third-Generation Manufacturer
Kui Lee has grown into one of Thailand’s largest textile-based manufacturing companies, known for having the highest number of twisting machines in the country. Currently run by the third generation, we continue to be the industry leader in the production of fishing nets, twines, and ropes, serving both domestic and international markets.
